PITOGO,
Zamboanga del Sur (March 31, 2018) –
The residential house razed by fire Saturday at about 8:22 in the morning in
Barangay Poblacion of this municipality.
The fire incident transpired at
Purok Calubian, Brgy Poblacion of this town wherein the house owned by Eugene
Cabugas was razed by fire.
Police initial investigation conducted
disclosed that the grandmother of the owner lighted a candle at the altar but unfortunately
the lighted candle caught the curtain near the altar which causes the fire and
the house was totally turned into ashes.
The Bureau of Fire Protection
declared the fire incident under control at about, 9:05 AM same date with the
estimated cost of damage is more or less P700 thousand pesos.
Police official said, Mrs. Maria
Suarin (owner’s grandmother) was successfully rescued and unharmed. (By JONG CADION)
