PITOGO,
Zamnoanga del Sur (July 21, 2018) - An unidentified
cadaver was found at the mangrove area of Purok 3, Brgy Panubigan, Pitogo, Zamboanga
Del Sur at about 3:00 PM of July 18, 2018.
The personnel of Pitogo MPS together
with Glen B. Impel, Municipal Sanitary Inspector proceeded to the area to
conduct investigation.
Upon arrival thereat personally
perceived by the responding PNP and some residents the body of unknown male
person hampered at the mangroves and believed to have been carried by the
strong current and waves during the typhoon.
Thereat, initial investigation conducted
by Pitogo MPS, disclosed that at about 3:00 o’clockpm of July 18, 2018, the
cadaver was discovered by a certain Rebilla Bequiso of legal age, widow and a
local resident of Purok 3 of Barangay Panubigan when the latter went to said
place to gather some sea shells for their consumption.
She then immediately reported to the
barangay officials about of her discovery. The cadaver has his burn tattoo at
his left shoulder (a star drawn and a word star written below it and another
small star drawn below).
PNP elements of Pitogo MPS are coordinating
with the Barangay Officials and the Municipal Disaster Rescue Team for
immediate disposition. Investigator on case is PO3 Rexandy Abalos Onggay, with
CP number 09072288839.
